If there are no products that meet your expectations, you simply develop them yourself. To avoid half-measures, to avoid becoming dependent on producers and to be able to vouch for the quality with your name, you also set up the necessary production at the same time.
Craftsmanship, creative thinking, attention to detail and a penchant for design – all combined with the desire to create something special. Together, the ZAQQ brand was founded.

The people behind ZAQQ
Matthias (business graduate, ZAQQ founder) studied international management and business administration at the Dublin Institute of Technology and the University of Leipzig. Ever since he first wore barefoot shoes a few years ago, he has been enthusiastic. Matthias develops the shoe models together with Michael and organizes purchasing and marketing.
André (Diploma in Business Administration, ZAQQ founder) studied commercial management at the University of Applied Sciences Worms and industrial engineering at the TU Dresden. His love for barefoot shoes began many years ago. André takes care of the production processes, quality controls and our heavy equipment.
Christiane (qualified librarian and business information technology specialist) takes care of all customer inquiries - both by phone and by email. She handles the order processing and shipping of the shoes. Do you have any questions about our shoes? She knows everything.
Helena (master stitcher) learned shoe production from scratch. With a lot of professional experience and craftsmanship, she can sew our ZAQQ shoes incredibly quickly and with perfect quality.
Andreas is our IT expert. He takes care of the administration and further development of our online shop system.
Michael is a trained graphic designer. Designing shoe soles and drawing shoe models was completely new territory for him. But he survived. We worked with him on 16 versions of our shoe sole before we were all satisfied and felt: This is the perfect one!
