Our leather
Not all leather is created equal. For many of your new ZAQQ barefoot shoes, we like to use our 2mm premium hunting leather. Hunting leather is a special type of leather and is hardly used in the shoe industry because it is very complex to produce and has to be processed with great precision. For us, these are perfect conditions because our factory enables us to use this high-quality leather for our shoes. Another special feature: our hunting leather can be used on both sides.
One side has a beautiful, smooth surface with a natural grain and feels particularly pleasant on the skin. The second side is similar to suede, velvety and elegant in appearance with a compact structure. This makes the leather very resistant to external weather influences, is water-repellent and easier to clean.
At 2 mm thick, our leather is an absolute exception in the shoe industry. Only a few manufacturers can process such strong leather, as this requires craftsmanship at the highest level. The stronger the processed leather, the higher the quality of the shoes. For this reason, we can do without an additional inner lining, several layers of leather or metal eyelets for the lacing, as our 2 mm hunting leather is extremely tear-resistant and does not require any reinforcement.
Through the use of hunting leather and the mix between smooth and velvety sides, each ZAQQ shoe made of hunting leather gets its inimitable and unique character.
sustainability
For us as a company, environmental protection means producing sustainably and with as little waste as possible, using natural, regenerative materials and avoiding environmentally harmful chemicals. This is of course done because we believe in it ourselves and also communicate it to our employees. What does that mean to you?
Your ZAQQ barefoot shoes are produced locally. This saves us long and unnecessary transport routes. By producing them in our factory, we can also be sure that no environmentally harmful or even harmful substances are used in production. Examples of this include our solvent-free glue, the rubber sole or the exclusive use of natural leather.
This is also one of the reasons why our employees love working for us. Ultimately, you will find all of this reflected in your new ZAQQ barefoot shoes - a really good feeling, isn't it?
Since we use almost exclusively natural products, your new ZAQQ barefoot shoes are of course organic and ecologically recyclable. But before you think about it, you should wear them for many years. And we are sure that you will love them just as much as we do.
